TOO MUCH THYME ON MY HANDS

A visual infographic organizing 34 spices by hue, value, texture, and potency threshold.

I love to cook, so my diverse collection of spices was perfect for this project. While experimenting with organization, I recorded the hue, value, aroma, taste profile, texture, location grown and potency threshold for all 34 spices. These spices were then photographed individually in white ceramic bowls.

In order to visually display the potency threshold for the spices (how long they last before their taste and aroma becomes weak), I discovered a unique ring structure to layout the spices. This structure is paired with a small diagram in the bottom right.
